I don’t have a credit card – can I pay by cheque/bacs?

You will be offered the option to pay for services by Cheque, Postal Order, Bacs, Paypal, at the end of the order process, via a link at the top of the complete order page.
Please note that services will not be provided until payment has been received for these orders.

Do I have to pay VAT even though in my country we don’t pay?

Value added Tax (VAT) at the current rate is added to all UK-Cheapest invoices. This applies to both EU countries and non-EU countries.

This is a ruling by HM Customs and Excise because the service is supplied in the UK and not the country of the ISP or registrant.

You may be able to reclaim VAT in your own country. Please see the HM Customs & Excise website for details.

Can I buy a domain name that has expired or been suspended?

Although a domain name may have expired or been suspended or detagged, it is not immediately available for registration by someone else. Depending on the registrar, they may keep hold of the domain name for several months.

Usually .UK domain names become available around 92 days after expiry.

I have not received my settings email, what do I do?

Upon processing of your Domain Name Registration and/or Hosting Configuration we send you an email containing all the passwords necessary to login to your control panel and manage your account.

If you have not received your settings e-mail, your registered email address is either incorrect, inactive, over-quota or may have active mail filters (e.g. Hotmail filters set to “high” will cut out most automated e-mail).

Please request a replacement settings email, quoting as much information relating to your order as is possible, including your order number.
